I proposed for my 20 time project, that Kaleb and I would document the process of trying to catch a 50lb Flathead catfish.
So far I have had success with finding tons of information and tips for catching the fish, and plan to try multiple different techniques. The only shortcoming I have ran into so far, is not being able to immediately start fishing now, but having to wait tell Spring for the ice to thaw.
So far I have accomplished acquiring all of my fishing gear, including hooks, weights, line, boat, etc. I have everything ready to go for as soon as the ice thaws. I have also accomplished knowing multiple different locations we plan to fish. Fingers crossed, but as of right now, nothing has gone really wrong. So hopefully that continues.
Next week during 20 time, I hope to accomplish learning a little more about different techniques, and habitats of where the fish tend to be. I also want to restring my poles with new line, to improve the catch rate for a 50lb. fish.
